Brian is a Certified Medical Assistant who joined Kik Chiropractic July of 2017 as a Chiropractic Assistant. When asked what he likes best about working here, he said, “I enjoy speaking with people and helping patients explain their symptoms and in return, teaching them about health and discussing healthy lifestyle choices.” Ultimately Brian is happiest when those he cares about are happy. He said, “When people I care about hurt, I share in that hurt. This includes all of our patients as well”.
Of all of the moments to look back on, Brian has three highlights of his life. He is grateful for meeting and marrying his wife, having their three amazing children, a daughter and 2 sons, and for the opportunity to work with troubled youth in the Dominican Republic for 4 years before settling down with his family in Michigan. Brian joined the Army in 2008 and has completed his time serving in the Army Reserve! He also enjoys teaching music in his free time.

Mikayla joined the Kik Chiropractic team as an Administrative Assistant in December of 2019. She is originally from the Lansing area where she graduated from LCC in 2018. After finishing school, Mikayla joined the US Army Michigan National Guard. She is trained to shoot fire missions for cannons & rockets. Her most treasured memory is coming home to all of her family and friends after 5 months of basic training and AIT.
Mikayla’s favorite pastime is spending time with her boyfriend and their dog, Leo. She enjoys playing volleyball, dance, and cheering on the MSU Spartans.

Macie joined the Kik Chiropractic team as a Front Desk Coordinator in February of 2021. Macie comes from a customer service background and truly enjoys working with people. When asked what she likes best about working here, she said, “I enjoy getting to meet new patients and interacting with them on a regular basis. We have some really great people that are our patients here.” Macie lived in Louisiana for 2 years where her husband was stationed in the Army. She was born and raised in West Michigan and is happy to be back in the area. Macie enjoys gardening and tries to grow new things every year. She loves spending summer days outside in the garden, laying by the pool, or boating.

Dream Vacation: Road trip through Switzerland
Sydney joined the Kik Chiropractic team in October of 2020. She is originally from the Lansing area, but moved to the west side of the state to attend GVSU as a Clinical Exercise Science Major. Sydney will be attending Chiropractic School in the Fall of 2021 to pursue her goals of becoming a chiropractor. When asked what she likes best about working here, she said, “I love getting to interact with all of the different patients. I also enjoy being immersed in the chiropractic environment as I am able to gain hands on experience for my future career path.” Sydney enjoys working out, camping, and spending days on the water. She also loves playing music and hanging out with her family along with her friends.

Marcus is a Certified EMT-B, as well as a Healthcare Specialist in the Michigan National Guard, who joined Kik Chiropractic in July 2020. He was born and raised in Rockford, and has graduated from GRCC with an Associates in Allied Health Sciences. He is continuing on to GVSU to pursue a Masters as a Physician’s Assistant.
Marcus is an avid outdoorsmen, enjoying hunting, fishing, and hiking. He also enjoys working on and riding motorcycles.
